BOS is a trading card game. So why are there no packs for sale right now?

This is Cameron here. We’ve released to our local community in Michigan, and right now we are not ready to do pack sales for 3 reasons:

The Base Set size is expanding, and the pack models are based on the full set size.

Giving players access to cards now helps fund the game’s artwork, website maintenance, and it builds a local scene of players waiting for the full release.

The game is still indie. We will have artwork updates, or card text updates as player feedback comes in. Since I really don’t want my players to have to gamble on packs to get an errata’d card, I’ve implemented a simple rule. In my local scene, you are able to give me an outdated version of a card and receive the updated one for free, or you can message me directly to get an updated version shipped to you.
